This is vary important!  You do not want to pick anything that does not connect with the product!  For example: abcjennifershop.com is not a good domain name I know you love your kids too, but Kevin and Jane Shop is not good domain either.  What you want your domain to have is the main keyword in it.  So if you are selling baby carrier than your domain name has to consist of those keywords.  A lot of simple domain names are taken so baby carriers may be hard to find, but if that is the case than try different options such as baby-carriers.com or Baby-carriers.net  (I try to stick with .com because people just remember it a lot more)  If that does not work, than try adding baby-carriers-sale.com or discounted-baby-carriers.com or backpacks-baby-carriers.com.  Just do not pick something too generic, make it targeted! It helps you with getting more searches. Also I use GoDaddy.com to purchase my domains.  I know a lot of people are happy with them.  However, I do not use them for hosting, only for my domain names.  This is very important!  Do not pick a domain name that has brand name in it! For example, you do not want to include Bjorn Carrier because you may have a conflict of interest with Bjorn  Company.  So stay away from that.

Side Note: it is important to register a domain under private. It costs a little more, but it is well worth it! I have heard of some sites getting hacked into that were not registered as private. Keep your godaddy.com password strong!
